=*Cz* [earth32.jpg] programming language= by *Sam Watkins* sam.ucm.dev ( *Cz* is a dialect of C that looks like Python. *Cz* has coroutines, hygienic macros, header generation, #! scripting and cached executables, libraries with graphics and sound, and many animated demos. *Cz* runs on GNU/Linux (best), and at various points in time has been known to work on MinGW/Windows, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Solaris, and GNU/Hurd. *Cz* translates cleanly into C. [tn/screen1.jpg] ; *Cz* is very much a work in progress, but I think it is already useful and fun. *Cz* has the full power of C, but it is easier to use like Python. I use it for much of my programming. *Cz* is pronounced see-zee, sounds like C-easy. It is intended to be easy to use. #- download ./cz.tgz (source, public domain) - browse the ./examples, ./library or ./code - read about Cz in ./slides1.txt, a slideshow file # the example *show slides1.txt* displays this - my web server ./tachyon is written in *Cz* - my ./freens DNS manager is written in *Cz* [tn/screen2.jpg] ; *I would like to hear from you!* If you like the sounds of *Cz*, or have some suggestion, or for any reason, please contact me.
